This Privacy Policy explains how ClipForge AI ("we", "us") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use our AI video generation platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account data: name, email, password hash, billing details.
- Content: prompts, scripts, images, videos, and brand assets you upload or generate.
- Usage data: device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, and interaction events.
ClipForge creates downloadable content in formats suitable for social-media platforms. Users are responsible for downloading and uploading their content to their chosen platforms. ClipForge does not currently connect directly to social-media accounts, does not store TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube or any other social-media access tokens, does not schedule posts, and does not publish content on a user's behalf.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Generate videos, storyboards, voiceovers and captions you request.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the platform.
- Process payments and prevent abuse.
- Send transactional and (with consent) marketing emails.
3. Sharing
We share limited data with sub-processors that power core functionality — AI model providers, cloud storage, payment processors, and analytics. We do not sell your data.
4. Retention
Content is retained while your account is active. You can delete individual projects at any time. Deleting your account removes personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at privacy@clipforge.ai to exercise them.
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, and follow role-based access controls internally. No system is 100% secure — you use the service at your own risk.
7. Children
ClipForge AI is not intended for users under 16.
8. Changes
We will notify you of material changes to this policy via email or in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
